So, like, can Anandtech stop banning me, please?

I got banned the first time about a year while I was moving to another apartment. Had some trouble with my internet, talked to customer service, then got it working again, at which point I got my IP address banned from the anandtech forums; Not sure how banning works, but I couldn't even see the content on the forums while banned, just a page with a message saying my IP address was banned.

When I checked my account form my older address (old apartment), I could log in just fine.

After a couple of months I noticed that I could log in from my new IP, too (had sent a couple of emails to the admins over the course ... guess one finally got read).

Then my IP address got banned again after I had reset my router and that lasted about a month. Now it's working again.

So, weather or not my issue could be fixed, could I at least get an explanation as to what's happening with my account when it gets banned, and why?

Your IPs have most likely been in a range banned for spamming from your area in the past.
Post in Moderator Discussions and they may be able to unban your current IP.
Soundmanred has the right answer. We haven't infracted you in years and have never issued a vacation, let alone a ban. An IP ban means that we've cut off an IP for spamming as we don't typically use IP bans for individual users.

We get a lot of spam from Romania, so you're almost certainly getting IP addresses that spammers have since discarded. Bring it up in Mod Discussions and we can look into the issue further for you.
