I recently signed up for a Good Old Games account, and downloaded some of my childhood favourites. Post yours!

Where are we drawing the line for "old?" Probably the oldest PC-realted gaming memories I have are watching my dad play Unreal and Quake, as well as playing Quake III: Team Arena's Urban Terror mod on my dad's account.

So many good old PC games:-

7th Guest, Age of Empires 1 & 2, Age of Mythology, Baldur's Gate 1&2, Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines, Command & Conquer, C&C: Tiberian Sun, Cyber Empires, Deus Ex, Diablo 1&2, Doom 1, 2 & Final Doom, Dune, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Half Life, Heretic, Hexen, Jagged Alliance 2, Lemmings, Lemmings 2: The Tribes, Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights, No One Lives Forever 1 & 2, Quake 1-3, Rise of Nations, System Shock 1 & 2, Thief 1-3 (and excellent community mod Thief 2X), Theme Hospital, Theme Park, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, Unreal Tournament, Worms Armageddon, etc.

Add on pretty much every old LucasArts, Sierra, etc, adventure game listed on ScummVM (Day of the Tentacle, Sam & Max Hit The Road, The Dig, Monkey Island, Space Quest, Beneath A Steel Sky, Broken Sword, Indiana Jones, etc).

Played through Doom and Doom 2 recently. Still so much fun.

Might fire up Tie Fighter at some point, amazing game.

Tie Fighter
Maniac Mansion 2: Day of the Tentacle
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
Dark Forces
The Dig

Age of Empires 1
The Neverhood
Microsoft Flight Simulator 95 (crashing planes was never so fun)

Tomb Raider
Heavy Gear
Duke Nukem 3D
Red Alert 1

These are the ones I can remember before 1999/2000.

You had to use the FAE bomb, IIRC.

Didn't work for me. It would hit the ground and then just fly along it forever. Couldn't get HARMs to destroy radar sites, either. Rockeyes and Mk 82's would destroy nothing. And it was either the Penguin or the Harpoon that didn't work for anti-ship.

It was just Maverick, Durandel, and AMRAAM/Sidewinders for me.

For me Commandos 1 and 2, Heroes of Might and Magic 3 (with all the expansion packs), and Medal of Honor Allied Assault (this game gave me my username).

Unfortunately, my favorite older game isn't really available to buy anymore: Homeworld. It's amazing, epic, hauntingly beautiful, and still a gorgeous game despite the low resolution textures and low poly count models.
