Agreed. I don't know why peopole bother comparing the clients when all it comes down to is what people use. If all my friends used iChat, I'd wait for a Windows version just to use it. I don't even have a Mac. If everyone went to jabber/googletalk, then same thing.

BTW, iChat uses AIM 🙂.
 
what'd be funny is if it was all a big plan to get everyone hooked on it, and now they are going to start charging a fee!
 
I'm not gettin AIM atm. I use MSN along side. I'd use trillian, but I'm too lazy to get it set up the way that I liked it.
 
Probably wouldn't switch to anything else because it'd be too widespread. Only reason I ever stopped using ICQ and started using AIM was because more and more n00bs starting using the internet and AIM was what they had.
