I've decided I am going to request off of work (wherever that may be) for Dec. 21st, 2012. Should be a fun day.



Seriously though, I know you will find things when you are looking for them, but it is a bit weird that many difference sources have similar ideas to how the world will end and when. I know its all 99.9% likely BS, but its interesting anyway.
 
I don't know anything about this Armageddon Week thing, nor do I get the History Channel, but anyway, my most likely "end of world" scenarios:
1) Asteroid impact.
2) Freak solar flare that puffs away more than half the ozone layer, as well as possibly some other significant portion of the atmosphere. The corresponding compression of Earth's magnetic field would cause enormous electrical surges in the power grid.
3) Not really an "end of world" thing, but a definite problem: Major nuclear war. Later on, maybe we'll develop antimatter weaponry.
4) Carrot Top and Britney Spears have a baby together.

 
There have been a large range of possibilities. Last night they did a 3 hour show about Dinosaurs and previous Armageddons. Ive had a lot of interest in the predictions of different sources though. The Mayan calender and 2012. Iching has some 2012 references as well. The Bible and Revelations. Nostradamus. There was also some lady from England that made some predictions and references to 2012 or around that time.
