So its time for a new heating and air conditioning system for the house, the house it 1600sqf single story.
I know nothing about heating and air so Im curious whats a good system costs? And how much it will save us on are bill, the system we have now is 20 years old and not very efficient. We are paying around $150 a month to run the air and we only run it between 8am and 9pm.
BTW we live in Round Rock TX just outside of Austin.
Would love to hear any feedback you might have
 
get as many estimates as possible...and ask friends/family who did theirs and what they think of the company

i got 5 when i got a new setup 2 years ago. the highest was about $3800 and the best was $2300 for a system just as powerful (and that $2300 included them removing and disposing of the old heater/ac)
 
Would like to hear some stories from those of you who replaced your and how much it saved you on your electric bill
