Oil is on the money re Sprint, but don't count on Verizon being 'soon after'. They have too much invested in Storm to care about Bold this year.

I know this doesn't really help the OP, but that 8900 is a really nice phone. wish Verizon had it, so I could grab it for the wife.

The GF has been using one for a long time and I have to say it IS a great device. I love my Bold, but it (8900) is significantly slimmer and lighter with a screen that pops just as vibrantly as the Bold.
