God I hate working on stuff like that. You pop open the case & a cloud greets you.

When that happens I can't breathe until I get a shower.

I WARNED you all not to overclock your CD-ROM drives. See what happens to your Unreal-Tournament CD when you try to spin it at 4800X?

Nuttin' but dust left!!!!!!

You think that's dirty you should have seen my disk drive the first time it was out of the case in 10 years. There was dust caked all around the side.

I fixed a computer for a friends mom a few months ago. I opened the computer, and loads of dust, and even a spider web?? Even worse, I popped a few keys off to clean the keyboard and a sprout was growing (very small, but still). She had eaten a salad over the keyboard and spilled.

I've seen dusty PC's, but, that CDROM Drive is definitely bad. Looks like there isn't a good intake and the air is all entering the case through the drive.

At least the dust LOOKS grey. IMHO, the worst is working on a PC from a heavy smokers household. The dust is yellow and tacky... and just "BLECH"! It's amazing how smoke will 'yellow' pc parts. Seeing that it's amazing people would allow it in their lungs!

That is BAD! I've worked on one from an auto body shop that had some really poor ventilation. The owner couldn't understand why I had to keep replacing CD drives every few months. Even after I explained the dust in the air (paint fumes too) are fuzzing it up.
