I suspect it's an emergency exit at a hotel or something, & it sets off the alarms if opened...
 
That pic reminds me of when I was in high school and our principal comes on the PA and starts saying: "tornado drill, tornado drill, this is not a drill." He kept repeating it (the actual tornado alarm had apparently malfunctioned or something). To make it even worse he had this really slow kinda-dimwitted voice.

Yep. It was taken at a hotel in Vegas. Still, it's a pretty pour choice of words though. The door should say "Emergency Exit. Alarm will sound." 😛
