So is this a new Firefox 2 "feature"

Ever since I upgraded to Firefox 2, whenever I am on google video or youtube, the video will automatically pause when the video isn't being displayed. It doesn't necessarily have to be the active window in order to play, it just has to be displayed. If I overlap the video with another window, it automatically pauses. Or if I click another tab, it pauses.

This is driving me nuts and I was wondering if anybody else has seen this?

my firefox 2 beta plays the first 0.5 seconds and stops. I need to click Play again to continue. I hate the way they did many things, especially how settings are hidden in little ass cracks, so I don't even use it. I'm on Opera and IE.

Probably a 'feature'. The idea would be to stop flashy ads from sucking your cpu cycles in the background.

I didn't even know that firefox 2 was out...

...but that's your biggest gripe out the program? what does it have going for it?

I'm not positive Firefox could intentionally do that. Sounds like a glitch with something, though.
