So is my friend a POS or what

Ok so it?s like ten o?clock last night and I?m getting a ride home from a friend. I?m riding in the back and my friend and his GF in the front. So this car drives by, and they point out that it is swerving a little, nothing to big, but still a little off. My friend points it out to me and says he thinks there might be a crash and follows it.
Now just as so you guys can get the whole picture, these people love to see people getting pulled over or crashes. I?m sure it?s not to laugh at peoples pain but to me it still seems kind of sick. I?ve mentioned this before but usually don?t put much effort in, so far it?s been harmless.
This time I couldn?t stay quiet. I asked him why he was following the car, was he hoping for an accident? He of course said no, at first, but I quickly used a logical progression to my advantage and he admitted it. He was going out of his way hopping for a crash.

Now, that he admitted, and showed some guilt when answering me made me feel a little better. He?s not a complete POS, but what really bothered me was his girl friend. She was just as gung ho as him to follow (we went way out of the way), only she didn?t think there was anything wrong with what she did. She knows what she was doing, considering the first reason for following, they said, was maybe there was going to be a crash, yet didn?t think it was wrong. She used excuses like, ?Anything could have happened?, and ?I don?t have to explain myself to you?, along with ignoring me.
When I asked what could have happened besides a car crash or the car getting pulled over she said anything. Like a pack of monkeys attack it and drive it off the road, do you randomly pick cars to follow around Walnut Creek (the city), anything can happen to anyone.

These people were obviously crash chasing and I just wanted to know what you guys think about it. If there are some typos or grammatical problems please excuse me its early.

Yeah i know what you mean. it actualy kinda pissed me off.

EDIT: And i always knew the GF was a piece of work. Have disliked her for a while.

Um.....nothing?

Just don't hang out with them, or don't hang out with them when they do that shit. I don't like everything about some of the people I hang out with, they're just good friends for the specific times when we hang out. Like a buddy of mine who is in all my engineering classes; funny guy, works hard, good studyin' partner. Kind of a jackass other than that tho; so we don't hang out much other than for class stuff

wait, are they trying to cause crashes, or just looking for a crash? both are sick (and illegal, the first for causing and the second only if they dont help), and i dont know why you'd stick around with them. they sound like total sickos

nothing wrong with what they did. if you are driving down the road and something is going on, be it firetrucks or cops, everyone wants to know and see what happened. sure your friends are a bit odd in trying to find a crash, but hey, to each his own.
