So, is megadosing in vitamins bull or is there something to it?

I started taking 1000 milligrams of vitamin C a day, and I think I'm feeling a little better. Is this placebo?

Are there any other vitamins I should try daily?
 
Unless you're vit C deficient it shouldn't make a difference. vitamin C is water soluble and will just be excreted in the urine

Hard to say.. many vitamins dissolve in water and leave when you pee, but I believe there is something to taking more than just the RDA 100% of vitamins.

Be carful though, you can OD on vitamins that store up in your fat, including A and D...

Iron ODs can be lethal...
 
Careful. Too much vitamin C can give you kidney stones...I got one because of this.

The heck with OD'ing and dying, that scenario would be more pleasant then a kidney stone.

Don't megadose in one vitamin, but iirc, when I took Amway's DoubleX I felt much better and energetic and it definitely wasn't a placebo effect. Since it's a great combination of different nutrients, not just a megadose of one, I think it helped
 
Never too young to start PHiuR...

I believe it really does help, esp if you don't eat a good balanced veggie includin diet 😉
