Keep hearing back and forth about how his premature death while as a joker is not affected, than now it's affected.

Which is it?

movie was already out of the production phase when he died. Any post-production delays are entirely on the studio, and should not be related to his death.

Word on the street is that if they do decide to delay it, it will be because they don't want to feel like they're cashing in on the fact that this is his last movie. Still very related to his death.

Since the release was set well prior to his death I doubt its going to move. Summer play dates can't jockey around much at this point.

It's original release schedule is July. I don't think that would be looked at as cashing in, personally.

If thats the case, thats weak. It'd be a tribute (as long his performance is badass) in my opinion.

still set for july 18. one of the biggest changes is the marketing campaign which was to center around the deranged joker and his 'why so serious?' bit. actually it had already started but now its going to focus more on the batman character.

Considering how awesome Batman Begins was, I think this one should be pretty good. Also, it's not like the movie is opening in a week. Six months after his death is enough time I think to be respectful.

Actually, its going to focus more on Harvey Dent for the time being, which supposedly was always the plan for the 2nd trailer, then shift to focusing on Batman himself leading up to the release.

The new trailer is supposed to be released in front of 10,000 BC next weekend.

And no, the movie is not being delayed.

Can't believe I have to go see 10,000 b.c. now...

Might have to just see the trailer and sneak into another movie...

Well I'd assume it'll be posted online the same day. No need to pay to see 10,000 BC just for that.
