If I was in the market for a console, I'd get the PS4 over the XB1. But I've got a gaming PC so I don't need or want one.

No thanks, I can't justifiy a console at all, let alone the less attractive option vs the new Playstation (Usually I prefer MS to Sony, but, MS fvcked up.)

I have my gaming PC with crossfire & Eyefinity, and I have my HTPC/Secondary gaming PC on the projector in the basement. Fiance will be displeased if I buy any more gaming related stuff (unless it's for her, but , I don't think she has any interest in a console, she would rather have a new laptop, but I'm instead giving her a PC with a semi decent used video card so she can play some PC games like Portal. )

I never thought I would see the day that I grew out of gaming. I have an Xbox 360 and a PS3, but the PS3 gets used for Netflix and Blue-rays, while the Xbox 360 gets used for a game or two of Fifa every other month.

I still game a bit on the computer, buy I can't see dropping 400-500 on a console anymore.

I haven't owned a gaming console since 1995 with the Sega Saturn. Sold it back then to buy parts for my first home built gaming PC. Been PC only ever since.

so glad I didn't let my urge to get the latest/greatest get the better of me - stopped at the original XBOX. I *may* do the PS4 because of Netflix/Blueray though since we don't have a BR player. It'll be a lot more practical than the Xbone.

I will probably get one. I know everyone is up in arms about the thing but I will get one eventually. I'll probably put a sticker over the camera and microphone. sadly I don't play games as often as I used to and have only borrowed games once. I honestly don't have many friends so game sharing is a non-issue for me.

I pre-ordered a PS4 from Amazon.

Its only $400. I can save that money up with one paycheck. If its terrible...we'll I'll just sell it at a markup when they are all out of stock during the holiday season.

I haven't had a console since the Atari2600. I'm opposed to limited use, locked down specialty computers, where the only feature that differentiates it from a general purpose computer is the artificial restrictions. and fuck Sony.
