What do you do for a living? Do you normally work a 9-5? If so, be prepared for your body to completely revolt after 2-3 days. I'd buy another alarm clock if I was you.

I worked 5 months on third shift. Easiest time I ever put in. No upper managment, little to worry about, and weirdos that don't give a sh!t what you do.

Your sleep will suck the first couple days and once you are used to it it gets all messed up again if you go back to days or whatever. What kind of job do you have? Traffic will be great going to work at that time.

Sleep really wasn't an issue for me. Every weekend I was back on a regular schedule (9-5 for most people) and I never had an issue.

Only thing I really miss about working an off shift at my company was the extra pay. :(

Hope that you have really thick shades on your windows or buy a sleeping mask. Feminine? Yes. But worth it.

I'm not supposed to tell you, but since you're starting anyway .... wild sex orgies happen after 2am
make sure to take lots of condoms and a video camera ;)

i worked it for three nights from 10pm to 7am. it was really too much, i was feeling so weird but not necessarliy sleepy. in fact i had a tough time sleeping when i got home. sometimes i felt queasy early in the morning while working, other times i just wanted to collapse or whatever

after the 3rd shifts were over, i had a very tough time adjusting to my new day schedule. lol

I used to work from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. for almost a year. It was easy because no boss to watch over your shoulder, no annoying co workers around, free to roam or do as I pleased as long as I did my job.

Just make sure you have plenty of rest and let your body adjust to the new schedule. Don't drink too much coffee or softdrinks.

Best advice. It's hard for me to sleep unless it's dark and quiet.

it's a godawful call center job with a mobile phone carrier, helping customers set up their mobile phones or answerring questions about their account. luckily it's only a job to raise some cash, before I go back to university.

worked securtiy for a low income high-rise condo (this kind of stuff happens in Hawaii...and basically I was a glorified doorman)

My advice...take a book...

I got tons of reading done at that job...
