Fuck it, so I went and bought a $6.99 shake instead. It's a durian shake from Wonderful Desert & Cafe on Irving and 21st. Yum. Burf. YUM!

Pulp Fiction is from the 80's and the five dollar shake scene is in a 50's restaurant so why are you talking about the 70s?

Peninsula Creamery and Palo Alto Creamery are both good.

At the PA Creamery you can easily get to $10 on your shake if you ask for a bunch of extra ingredients. At Peninsula they run about $5 and change.

Don't know about the Bay Area but there's a place in Modesto that does $6 shakes. 100 flavors. Fucking damn tasty.
