So I'm watching MacGyver...

and happen to notice that one of the evil poachers is none other than Gen. Hammond from Stargate. I wonder if the two of them were friends from the MacGyver days or if its just a coincendence. Well not to be left wondering I did a little research. Turns out that not only was Hammond in an episode of MacGyver, he was also the body double for Dana Elckar (Peter Thornton). I always thought the two of them had an uncanny resemblance. Now I know there is a reason for it and its not that RDA has a thing for short, pudgy, balding senior officials.

I also noticed that this squinty eyed brunette keeps showing up. One day she's a friends sister, then an employee of the phoenix foundation, then a Russian double agent who falls for MacGyver. Another friend or just an actor on retainer?
