My friends lookingto upgrade his p3-600 system, so I figured I'd use that as an excuse to upgrade my system and sell him my old board. Problem is I can't think of a clear winner:
Albatron: No 4:5 ratio available to 100 FSB PIVs.
Abit: BE7 not enough juice and cold boot issues(Not in the mood to do any wire tricks), IT7 Max2 V2 Is hella expensive...
Asus: P4PE overvolting concerns me.
EPoX: Can't find it anywhere in Canada.
I'm pretty sure my best bet is the IT7 M2V2, but the cost is huge, and I know for a fact I'll never use most of its extra features... After reading Thug's BE7 testing, I'm pretty scared
I was thinking the P4PE would then be the obvious choice, but then I read about the overvolting, and that the Abit has better voltage ranges... Any Albatron users out there? How is its OCability, and does anyone know if it overvolts/undervolts, etc.?
Thanks.
