So I'm thinking about buying a PE mobo

My friends lookingto upgrade his p3-600 system, so I figured I'd use that as an excuse to upgrade my system and sell him my old board. Problem is I can't think of a clear winner:

Albatron: No 4:5 ratio available to 100 FSB PIVs.

Abit: BE7 not enough juice and cold boot issues(Not in the mood to do any wire tricks), IT7 Max2 V2 Is hella expensive...

Asus: P4PE overvolting concerns me.

EPoX: Can't find it anywhere in Canada.

I'm pretty sure my best bet is the IT7 M2V2, but the cost is huge, and I know for a fact I'll never use most of its extra features... After reading Thug's BE7 testing, I'm pretty scared :) I was thinking the P4PE would then be the obvious choice, but then I read about the overvolting, and that the Abit has better voltage ranges... Any Albatron users out there? How is its OCability, and does anyone know if it overvolts/undervolts, etc.?

Thanks.

I bet if you wait, this store will have the 4PEA+ you might be considering. Vibe
I got mine from Directron.com (I live in Ontario Canada) and it's not worth it depending on the shipping carrier, (UPS is ass) but if you want the board, you CAN order it from the US.

out of those, I would go Epox, Albatron or Asus.
Albatron boards are all good (the ones I've used) and I wouldn't hesitate to get one.

asus p4pe
overvolting wont be much of a problem

i found at 1.65v in bios, it would give my friend 1.7v actual
hes at 2.6ghz from a 1.6a, needless to say he's thrilled :)

Well I decided to take a chance on the Albatron.

I'm kind fo sick of EPoX attempting to skip out on the 12v connector... I'm really curious to see how the Albatron performs. If I like it but can't stand not having a 4:5 ratio, I'll just pick up a 2.26 or h4><0r one of my 1.6 or 1.8

they should overclock to 133 easily (referring to 1.6 or 1.8)

Yeah both of these CPUs do, but they also both hit a wall at 147... Wondering if my mobo might be the culprit here.
