...she's a call-girl
It sucks because I've seen her a few times over there and it felt like I was just getting to know her.
Ok, it's not 100% confirmed she's a whore, but there are plenty of signs in that direction. I was wondering why there was this guy kinda eyeing us in another section of the bar, and I came out of the bathroom to find them talking while she was up there ordering drinks. I think he might've been her pimp (though he totally did NOT look like a pimp..picture a 70 year-old Roy Scheider but kinda fit looking.)
Also when we were talking about jobs and debt she mentioned how she had paid her way through college and supported herself because her parents didn't give her any money, and how she'd been pretty much on her own since high school (i.e. when she turned 18 and started turning tricks?)
The bar I was at had karaoke night, and she kept trying to get me to sing a duet and I kept trying to tell her I didn't know the song. So I tried to get her to sing with my friend (he's a really good singer) and the first thing she asks his "will his girlfriend mind?" Now she doesn't know him, and she wouldn't even know that he had a girlfriend, and why would she mind if they're just singing? I think she asked because she might have a rep as a call-girl who works the bar?
The dead giveaway was when she got up to sing "These boots were made for walking" (her signature song). The Roy Scheider Pimp Guy comes up to me and says, "she works for me, and she WILL walk all over you!"

What a let-down.
