Somebody mentioned something about good form which reminds me of an incident this morning; well technically yesterday.
I ran into one of those goofy gym rats that try to look like they know what they are doing, but are way clueless.
This guy so intrigued me I was actually pausing what I was doing to check him out. It seems like every machine he went to he somehow changed into a 'full body' excercise. I watched him do some lat pulldowns, and man I thought he was about to go into spasams there. He dd some cable pushdowns for the triceps and looked like he was trying to body slam the cable and use his entire body to do the 'push down.'
Greates thing I thought was when he hit the standing calf raise machine and used the entire stack (400 to 500 pounds I suppose) and was basically doing squats with it. Instead of using just his calves he was using his quads/hamstrings, back and everything in between.
I felt pretty good when I saw the poor guy hit the laying leg curl machine and I suppose he couldn't "cheat" and looked like he did 3 sets of 6 reps of 30 pounds.
I wonder if he got a good work-out that day?
I know it has nothing to do with creatine, but I was laughing at that all day; well I found it funny.
By the way, I don't have a problem with creatine. However, I don't drink as much water as I should, I suppose I am somewhere between one and one and half gallons day.
