That should be illegal. I had a prof last year that did that...he constantly apologized for it because he had only suits from his last job as a consultant .
Keyboards...should...not...be...slamed...
They should click, but even old typewriters and IBM keyboards don't need that much force.

...lucky. I had to go through most of high school first (only to get removed for medical reasons).

Just wait until you work at a real office, where people breathe loudly through their mouths, sniff all the time because of colds, laugh loudly at phone calls, use their speaker phones at high volumes, etc, etc.

One really good joke is to wait until an elevator door opens, make sure there are people inside, then transform your face into a look of utter horror as you point into the elevator. Then run off, chuckling.
