well, I'll try mozilla for a little, but I'm not sure there's a whole bunch of benefits, other than stuff like the cookie manager, etc... I like the fact that it's customizable and all, but it's not a huge jump above IE in my opinion.

One other thing I did was NOT install Flash in my Mozilla browser. This means that the really annoying Flash crap out there doesn't bother me anymore. And if I find a place with Flash that I really want to see, cut-paste the URL into IE and view it there.

Most of the annoying flash content out there are ads anyway, so I'm not missing much.
True, true.. oh so true.. I uninstalled flash on mozilla and do extactly what you suggest

The other thing, I use my Intellimouse Explorer buttons to close open windows, is there any way I can set mozilla to take that command to shut a tab instead of the whole program?

if you can program the button to ctrl-W then it would work.

and use mozilla for a few days and you'll see why tabs are nice

No popups.

Tabbed browsing.

That is why I use it.

what's the tabbed browsing all about?

Right click on a link, select open in new tab. Its wonderful.

Wow almost the same as clicking on a link and open in new window in windows. And if you have enough windows open they all fall into one little thing in your taskbar, so you click that and select your site. Mozilla does not sound exciting at all.

because every single version of windows out there does that

oh, yeah, i only have to hit minimize once and all my browser windows minimize instead of having to hit 6 of them
