I'm not sure what look they were going for here, but this reminds me of something I'd do back when I was learning Photoshop and was trying to mask people out of images. I didn't know what the shit I was doing and it would come out looking like this. How the fuck did this get passed whatever department head thumbs up the media work?

Obviously I know it's intentional, it just looks so shitty. Give a 12 year old Photoshop and 20 minutes and that's what they'd come up with.

Interestingly both this and Photoshop were released in Feb 1990.


Doesn't really matter, publishing existed long before adobe. Darkroom manipulation or a razor would have done it if they wanted the white stuff gone.

Maybe a 12 year old and photoshop was all the budget they had. It is a steven seagal movie after all...

He's been fat for a while now. Plus - I know plenty of 50 somethings who don't depend on appearance for their livelihood who are in great shape.
