I love it when Zane Johnson makes retarded-ass threads, and people reply to them as if he were telling the truth and not some assbag making threads to stir up a hornets next once a week. Get a clue people!

believe it or not ive never had a felony.

And the American Army lets in retards and drug addicts as well as convicted felons... so the first statement is wrong too.

Given your substantial background in drug use, you'll probably need a waiver to get in. On top of the waiver, you'll likely be on a probation and be severely restricted to your MOS.

Chances are you'll end up one of those people talking to my uncle trying to get out. He works with Section 8 classifications and such ... This one will be fun!

dont you have a wife to take care of or something?

yeah and two kids, and this is a way i KNOW i can take care of them.

Not if you're dead.

OK lets say this thread WAS real (which we all know its probably made up bullshit)

But this assbag would take better care for his family if he were dead with the insurance his family would recieve from the military. In all actuality, he would be worth more dead than alive in terms of supporting a family.

i talked to a friend who did 4 years, 2 in south korea, and 1 in iraq, and he says its the best thing he's ever done with his life.. he didnt re-enlist, but i mean just the utter respect people have for this man is enough reason to want to do it.

I think it's a great idea (assuming you're not completely BSing us). As you said they take care of all your needs, and if you join the army they'll ship you off somewhere far away from all your druggie friends, which is absolutely necessary if you're going to stay clean.
