I bought a pair of Klipsch RCW5 in wall speakers for the rear channel, I already have a pair of RF3 main speakers and a RC3 center with a nice 10" subwoofer to go in the corner. Anyway, some damage to our flooring by a water leak necessitated removing the flooring (hardwood over concrete slab). I decided to take the opportunity to replace the ugly grey tile around our fireplace with something that goes with the colors in our familyroom so I tore that out and retiled, I also ran the surround sound speaker wires behind the fireplace and the subwoofer cable is imbedded along the wall between the tile and the fireplace front (I grouted over it in fact, hopefully, I'll never have to replace it
).
I'm planning on running the sub cable between the flooring and the base molding and the surround wires I figured I'd rout out a channel in the base molding and run the speaker wire in there.
I'll post pics when it's all complete. Hopefully within a couple weeks.
