I will be attending a wedding in Cupertino next week, and I will be visting the greater San Fransisco, San Jose, and (HOLLA BUBB RUBB) Oakland area.

Since I will be attending a wedding, I will be seeing cousins and almost all the west coast family I've never met before in my life. Therefore, I've realized that I might like to make an impromptu range outing. Hey, my family and guns.....what could go wrong?

Plus, when you have ten grand tied up in boomsticks, it seems a little silly to spend $20 on a gun rental.

I think I'll be bringing some CA legal guns in, I want to pack my 1911, S&W 66, and I will be forgoing any Glocks since none of the magazines I own is CA legal. Yes, thats right. I've got all these Glocks and I can't use any of them.

Additionally, I am a fan of Ernie Emerson and his totally bitchass series of knives with the wave feature. I own a CQC-7 and a CQC-11 and I've been known to carry both if I can't make up my mind which is better. Plus, I pack a Leatherman wave.

I did some research on packing and it looks like the following:

Knives are cool - shouldnt have a problem.

Guns are bad - I cant even keep them in the damn car. They have to go in the trunk. ******. What if I get carjacked outside Google Headquarters? Bastards.

CCW - Technically possible if I want to risk a $200 fine and a misdie.

Best place to shoot and buy ammo?

Anything else I need to know?

Reccomended sights to see?

Sounds like a bad idea to bring guns to a wedding.

you've never shot guns in the air at a wedding?

See, you know what i'm talking about. Why else would they have all those birds at the end?

If I didn't have this gun, the King of England could just walk in here any time he wants, and start shoving you around. Do you want that? Huh? Do you?

Yep. I have more money in guns than the value of my house right now.

I have spent $10,000 on one gun before (My M-16 lower reciever), next most expensive was $8900 for a Barrett 82A1 .50 Browning rifle. I could easily sell both for a couple thousand more than I paid for them.

As a born and raised Californian, I implore you to stay away. I feel the collective California IQ dropping at the mere suggestion of your presence.

Yes, california does not tolerate real, gun-owning americans who actually enjoy the freedoms that those of us who live in free states are allowed to practice. California prefers sheep to visit and live in their state, just like the majority of their residents.

Don't forget that the IRS knows when you make money on a house but not on a machinegun. :p

Well, they are getting their $200 tax stamp everytime a machinegun is sold (a buyer has to fill out a form 4 and submit it to the ATF with their tax money before taking possession no matter what), so they are getting something at least. :p

Dude, you're such a poseur. Do us all a favor and follow these steps:

1) Find a gun in your "ZOMGMASSIVE" collection
2) Load it
2a) Ignore step 2, ballers like you keep all of your guns loaded
3) Put said gun in mouth
4) Squeeze trigger

Thanks :)
