So I'm going to be renting an apartment...

#1: The agent was surprised that I had a good credit rating.
#2: The agent was very surprised that after having the paperwork for a week, and after coming back, that it was completely filled out (they were ready to go through and fill them out with me) and the forms required (and listed) were there.

So I ask, does my ability to follow written instructions make me a freak?

a week? I have all mine done in one hour....

It involved getting a money order, a notorized letter, asking the people if it was okay to have them as references, and deciding if I wanted to rent there. Filling out the forms themselves didn't take long.

aside from the notarized thing (i only had to do that when i had a cosigner, but you can get it notarized at a bank), yeah, it took me one hour, unless i viewed the apt. at night and the bank was closed, then it took me a day.

maybe the area your moving into has people that dont follow instructions well..

now do you want to live in an area like that..answer the question...do ya punk? 😛

your gonna stick out like a sore thumb when you move into the ghetto and you pay your rent and bills on time..have a job and a car...you are gonna get beat up everyday!

Heh, the area is on the edge of a buisness park and about 3 miles from my work. Not ghetto. They're putting in some half million dollar houses just about a mile away. (okay, so this is California, even the ghetto houses cost a quarter mil)
