So im going to Alaska for a month....

I am going on a NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) course in Alaska. My plane leaves at 6:25am est on June 16 (today) and i have to be at the airport at 4:30 am. I am going to be backpacking in the wilderness for 29 straight days. It is 1:46am est and i have to leave in 3 hours to go to the airport. This is probobly the last time ill get to post on the boards for a while. I am not getting back till July 17. I can really sleep so i thought id just say bye. Well Bye! See you guys (and like 10 girls) in a month.

Dammit, you guys... it's not always cold here! I'm in Fairbanks and It's just like any other place in the USA, all the usual restarants (pizza hut, Burger King, McDonald's Taco bell, etc.) Sam's Club, 16 screen DTS movie theater, Safeway, Fred Meyers, Sadlers Furniture, DSL and cable broadband, digital cable, and all the other crap.

Alaska is a nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live here. We have the Mosquito's from hell... besides, we hate tourists! All these damned old people come up by the thousands in tour buses and RVs. We have permanent smell of Ben Gay and Fixadent from early June to late August in the air around town. 🙂
