So I'm giving my case a new paint job.

And I'm about ready to throw the cans of paint in the trash. I'm using Ultra-enamel its taking FOREVER to dry, one cote of primer can take upto a day before its dry enough for me to sand it.

I don't know what is it that I'm doing wrong I'm not putting on too thick of layers and I shake the cans like crazy. I think it may be the heat we are having here, it gets past 85F and I think that could be messing with the paint.

Found out it just takes a long time and I need to stop F'ing with the paint and let it dry.

Another thing that is ticking me off is the damn dust out here! I can't take a step without kicking up dust in my garage. this better be one damn good paint job when I'm done. or I'm dipping the hole thing in stripper and pretend it's brushed aluminum!

Still have ALOT of work to do, I need to let it dry untill tomorrow and then sand it and spray it again. Then I need to figure out what graphics I want painted on it, I'm thinking a white phoenix silhouette Wrapping its wings across the two sides or something cool like that.

Hoping to have it done by Sun-Mon.

Update #2

Well I'm about 1/2 done now. I have most of the stuff painted and will start doing the final sanding tomorrow, hoping to get that mirror look that is so sought after. 🙂

I'll Have some More (Resized) Pics up tonight-tomorrow.

Nice. You did the insides too, cool.

What case is that? (sorry I should know but there are a lot of cases out there that use that same chassis)
