I pull the door shut, fairly hard and I hear the sick thud of my cellphone in my coat pocket....The door swings back open, I pull my Nokia 6185 out of my pocket and it if now OFF. So I press the power button and it slowly comes back up, but wait somethings missing. Could it be part of the LCD display is not showing, oh no I have to buy a new phone. The part where the phone number appears was compressed, I say compressed rather than crushed because, well I'll get to that. So I am depressed all day and for 3 days I worry and debate on buying a new phone with my credit card becuase I'm BROKE. So on the third day I look at my phone tears forming in my eye, well not really, and to my suprise the LCD screen had recovered its injury. I am now very impressed with the quality of my Nokia phone and am happy that I didnt have to buy another phone.

Oh well thats it I guess...

I left my phone in a car with the sunroof open when it was raining, the next morning, I see droplets inside the lcd. So I sit it up, let it dry out, open up the cover, blowdry it, and works fine since then. Then I went and bought some Nokia stock.

When I had a Nokia 2160 I dropped it a few times and never had a problem until it was stolen.:|

Last winter I had my cell phone clipped on my belt. Anyway I walked out to my truck and some smuck had parked really close to my back bumper and there is a large snow bank in front of it. So I get out the snow shovel and clear away some of the snow. I then jump in my truck and drive off to the gym. So there I am changing in the gym when I realize that my phone is no longer attached to my belt. Ahhhhhh I rush back to my parking spot and start digging through the deep snow. Well I never did find it. Luckily it was a company phone so they just bought me another one :D.

Putting some groceries in the car, I laid my phone on the room of my mini van. Of course I forgot it and drove off. About 4 blocks away, I realized what I did and started to re-trace my steps. Luckly it was late at night and I found the phone scuffed up in the middle of the street. It turned on and has been working great since. Samsung 8500 - A mean mother!
