So im feeling a little bored... Suggest a book for me to buy

and I am thinking about heading down to Borders t buy a book. Any recomndations? I nly have ~17 on the gift card, so it has to be under that. I have read the Gunslinger Novels by Steven King, and All of the enders game books. I like fantesy and fiction, but also have been known to read classic litature (so I am basically open to any book you thow out thee).

Hm?

Anything by Tim Powers. Try for Anubis Gates, Declare, or Last Call. In that order.

Anything by Neal Stephenson. Zodiac is good, Snow Crash is great, Diamond Age is interesting so far, and Cryptonomicon is supposed to be amazing.

The Mote in God's Eye by Larry Niven.

If you like Sherlock Holmes stories, a twisted one to read is The Last Sherlock Holmes Story by Michale Dibden. I read that for an english course I'm taking, and I have to say that the major revelation of the book is quite a surprise.

Finally, The Relic and sequels by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Childs.

Any novel by Nelson DeMille. I guarantee some good laughs. The guy has one hell of a sense of humor. And good stories too.
