So I'm deciding on a beer and where do I go for help?

ATOT! I like good beers and wanted to try something new. So I came here, used the search feature and read through some recommendations. So I decided on Bass Pale Ale and went to the store and got a six pack. Man.... it is really good stuff. And each one I drink gets smoother and smoother!! It tastes so good I even find myself swishing it in my mouth a bit before swallowing. Next time I think I'm gonna try Harp.

Harp rocks. If you can get them, ask for some Belgian or Dutch imports. Duvel, a Belgian beer is about 8% alcohol, ie 1 of them equals about two American Budweisers. Make sure you get the import, not one brewed here.

Guinness tastes rancid to me. I could imagine that it tastes not unlike filling one's mouth with cold coffee grounds.

My favorites:

Abita Brewing Amber Ale
Killian's Irish Red
Rolling Rock
Bass Ale
Heineken

Never had Abita, Killian's is OK, Rolling Rock is the Sh!t, Bass is good stuff, and Heineken tastes like a Nazi's asshole.

So which is best to try: Bass, Harp, or Guinness? I've been trying to decide between which of the 3 to try first lately.

I tried sam adams cream stout and it was pretty good although the coffee flavor was a tad stronger than I care for. Contrary to what the name made me expect there wasn't any sweetness. Good though.
