So right now I have a receding hairline, all at the age of 19.

My hairstyle is parted down the middle with either side forming a wave.(think Bill Lumberg from office space but more pronounced waves). If I put all my hair on the sides it looks like sh!t cause of my receding hair line. However if I put it down on either sides it looks alright cause it covers the hairline.

After having this hairstyle for 2+ years my hair finaly is trained in that position. I was wondering if I get a short buzz cut or something how will that look since my hair is trained?

Or should I do something else? keep it long enough to spike it or what? Or keep it and just hide the hairline(which I would rather not do) I need to celebrate my balding.
 
go to a dermatologist, and see if you can get on propecia. Currently it's the only good solution for male hairloss
 
rickn- nah I dont mind that I'm going bald I dont want drugs for it I just want a good hair do for it.

Nah I'm just well prepared

I know by looking at my relative's I'm going to be bald as hell.

and there aint much to be done about it.

The picture that really shows my hairline is of me doing something illegal, that I'm not about to post.

And I haven't showered so my hair is messed up.

nah they have been runing from me for the past 8 years. Nothing new there.

Maybe I might be able to get those strange girls that only go for older guys.

Lol, this thread is great! I can't point out a single post that isn't 100% true or funny as hell - so I'll be the first 😉 I don't mind going bald either, but I've got almost a decade on the OP, so admire him for not much minding it at an age where girls.. erm, women, I mean, see it as a sign of "o noes teh old!!!111111"... My advice would be to not worry about any particular hairstyles.
 
I have a receding hairline......but I also have been shaving my head since 14 and so will prolly just continue to do so..
 
shave it all off. My friend has a saying, "Don't be chubby" If you are going to be fat, then be fat. If you are going to be bald, then be bald. But DONT BE CHUBBY.

I'm not balding perse, but when I was 21, I lost a chunk of my hair in a freak dye job accident. since then, I've kept my head buzzed down and it looks pretty good.

what's the deal with your hair being "trained", though? 😛

:thumbsup: a balding guy can look no worse than if he utilizes the fabled combover. I say shave it, but if your job prevents it, keeping it short is good. If you can get away with it, wear a baseball cap.
