I was wondering though..I have two phone lines here, and one gives me a connection of 50.6k, while the other only connects me at a max of 28.8. What's up with that?

Is the slower phone line also hooked up to a bunch of phones?

Quite the contrary actually..it's the "main" line that's slower.

When you say main line, you mean the one that's used mainly for internet? Or for phone service?

For phone service. The one that's supposed to be used for internet is the slow one.
