So i'm asked to move at work...

OK..i'm been in this company for 2 yrs...
sitting near the server room(i'm the admin). I'm the only one
in engineering at this section while all the rest are at another. Not far
away coz this is a small office...basically 20 feet away. My vp of 1 yr
comes and tell me today that he wants me to move to where they are...
When i asked for reason, he said something to the effect of '..business related'.
Basic bull and dodge. I mean if he really thought i should be with the team
wouldn't it have come a year ago...why wait a year and request it now?
Somehow this is leaving a real bad taste in my mouth ...to the point
of me wanting to quit or they can fire me to make me move. :disgust:

Actually you should quit, it will look awesome on future applications when they ask for the reason you left.

lol, my first thought too. We're trying to clear up the area, soooo if you could move to the basement....yeeaaah, thanks.
