42" is too big...well even 37 is too big for my needs, but i didnt like any 32s i saw...
also, it is 720p, i know its not really a big deal, but i'll be able to have more depth on my desktop. also, i dont really want a built in tuner, unless it has cablecard. it doesnt have VGA input either...or as many inputs as the westy

Crutchfield.com has it for $999 and free shipping. Check this Hot Deals thread.

This doesn't look too bad if you don't need 1080p. I can you can get free shipping and $20 off if you do that paypal promotion.

Then I would go for the Westinghouse. Olevia uses that bad ATI chip that causes ghosting, doesn't it?

I'm pretty tempted by that 37" 1080P Westinghouse myself. I'm trying to convince myself I don't need 37" for my computer monitor. ;)

not really sure about the olevia...all i hear was it was crap for gaming...

hehe...37 is overkill for a PC monitor, no doubt, but oblivion and other games will look soooo badass :)

its just the 32 inch olevia i think that has the problem

either way, the 1080p westty is a better choice

there's only a few models of the olevia that have the problem, i think the 2 series. some of their other ones use different chips and are ok.

It is awesome as a computer monitor.
I use it mainly as a PC monitor and it rocks.
Here is my setup since it so big.

As Christmas approaches and LCD prices continue to drop, expect another 800 or so.

imo, wayyy too much money for a 37 with a not-stellar name. also, judging from what i saw in the store, the 32w3 (or was it w6?) had a VERY noticeable choppy effect to it... a very standout trait compared to everything else. it wasnt so much ghosting as it was choppy.

the westy's with tv tuners built in are completely differnt...

the LVM-xxxx models are the monitors only and generally perform better, AFIK
