So if you were accidentally teleported back in time two thousand years?

I'd start with empiricism, then invent the printing press, antibiotics, metallurgy, gunpowder. Then conquer the world.

For the sake of simplicit, lets assume you would be able to communicate with the natives in a reasonable manner which would grow better in time.

So what would you become?

A world conquerer?

After a couple of days of being miserable, I would realized that going 2000 years back in time was one of the most incredibly stupid things I had ever done. I would start trying to get back to today.

I'd make it my goal to stay alive for 2000 years so I could get a chance to beat the ****** out of the fella who 'accidentally' transported me.

My first priority would be making antibiotics.

The simple fact is life before antibiotics was cheap. Things we consider a minor annoyance would kill you slowly and painfully back then.
