How much are speakers that can be part of a portable system if I get the InFocus 4805?

It would be nice to be able to move it if we needed to use it else where or lock it up at night.

Headphones :p

Portable speakers do not offer that great quality but if you want portable then that is that.

Will you be needing an amp to power it?

i'd suggest a set of computer speakers like the Logitech Z-680 5.1's --- portable (mostly) with the built in amp, and has 5.1, so you can ge the full theater experience.

Brilliant idea.
This will be set up in a Sunday school room for the teenagers.
If the projector and speakers are on cart and portable, we can use it for meetings etc...

I already had an HT before I bought my FPJ so I went cheap with the sound setup.

I got a refurb Onkyo TX601 from ecost and a 5.1 Cerwin Vega speaker set when it was on sale for $100.

My LCD RPTV HT setup is much nicer with B&W speakers but for $100, the setup isn't bad at all. I'm thinking about getting a real subwoofer instead of the weak 8" sub the setup comes with.
