Well been racking my brain looking for a case and I think I am pretty much set on the hafs but I'm not sure with one. Never had a full size case before not sure if in need it but I do need a case with lots of airflow. Right now at the egg the haf 922 is 89.99 with free shipping and the haf 932 is 139.99 with free shipping. I pretty much think I could get by with the 922 but will i be missing out by not going with the 932?

(p.s. If I where to 932 I'd have to wait a bit but I could jump on the 922 now).

here is the cases for ref:

the 932 seems like its longer.

Its probably to allow a long radiator to sit up at top, since most cases are now coming h2o friendly.

The other seems like cosmetic changes.

If you have the intention of h2o in the future, i would wait for the second case, as it seems more friendly to h2o cool.

If u never plan on touching water, and you dont mind how the old one looks, id get the old one as it seems like a great case.

you live near a frys? were selling it for $99 till the 15th.

as for the differences, the 922 can only take a 240x120 rad in the top, where as the 932 can take a 360x120 rad in the top and a fillport. it also has a lot more space ab over the board to stack rads, so you could probably do a rad/fan/rad/fan stack in there without issues if you dont mind blocking the top 2 expansion slots lol. gonna be putting my rig on H2O in 2 weeks once i get the money for it all so i already have it all planned out

So there's no benefit in getting the HAF 932 over the 922 if you only plan to run on air?
Looks like I wasted $50 last week.

nah there's a ton more workable room inside the 932 over the 922. working my hand in above an air cooler in the 922 is a really tight squeeze, where as of now i can fit my entire fist with a bundle of cables in above my cooler to do work. the internal space leaves a ton of extra for wire routing and adding extra stuff in (in the way of bling, ducting, lighting, ect), and it will fit any video card ever made or going to be made soon leaving space on the end of the card to intake air, where as the HAF922 might cut it a bit short. on the flipside, the 922 is a good bit lighter, but even fully loaded my 932 is still 10lb lighter than my TT armor ever was (air vs air of course), and thats with CF video cards and a much heavier PSU, cooler, motherboard, and HDDs (yes even my HDDs weigh more). its all in all quite an impressive case, and i would gladly choose it even for air cooling over the 922 for my own personal use as a primary case. if i were to build a cheaper system on a tighter budget, i might consider the 922 to save a few bucks (though at $99 at work i cant beat it), but i could probably mow a lawn and do a couple chores for family to earn the difference in a day anyway, which is worth it considering my upgrade cycle on cases is usually 5 years or more unless i run into severe issues with my current case the way i did with my TT armor.

I'll never go back to mid towers after having a haf 932. Soooo much nicer to work with all that extra space.

I think I'm going with Haf 932, just got some B-day money so looks like I'm going for it. the space thing is what I want my case is so small now I need more room lol.

Wow moved my parts over to the haf 932 and my temperatures went down ten degrees on everything. Just didn't realize how big this case is (almost to big).......now I my next question is wheels or no wheels lol.
