Without resorting to turning back time by causing the earth to spin backwards do you think he could of prevented 9/11 from happening?

I think there would be a lot more survivors because of him but I don't think he could of prevented the planes from flying into the towers and the pentagon.

No. His wheelchair would have set off the metal detectors, and he would have been detained.

Oh no, "could of" is the newest, hippest spelling of the contraction "could've". You see, it is one character less and sounds similar.

Prevented the planes from impacting... probably not since he would have to have prior knowledge.

Saved more people / help minimize dammage... sure.

Yes, because he could have flown back in time to stop the planes from taking off, unless, the Bush administration would have shot him up with kryptonite bullets for interfering with their plans to take over oil overseas.

He probably can't save the plane from impact but could use his cold breath to blow out the fire so the tower wouldn't collapse.

He wouldn;t have caught the first one...and probobly not the pentagon one....ever notice how superman never shows up until he hears someone scream? by the time they did on BOTH occasions it was too late. The thrid plane he might've caught alone with the one that crashed in the field (remeber that one too people?)

I agree and I am calling for it to be locked. This is not a joking matter, not at all.

For all intensive purposes, he could of, but perhaps not should of. Superman wouldn't want the US to loose there War on Terror, as that would be to bad.

i think after the first plane hit, he would have saved the other 3 planes and saved the first tower. he would have used his freeze breath to stop the fire in the first tower

He could have heard the people on the planes screaming before impact.

if superman really existed, the terrorists would have known better than to screw with the USA.
