So, if my OC is stable in Orthos.....

..... should I turn down my vcore and retest until it isn't? Do I want to spend time and find the minimum stable voltage?

Yes. The lower the voltage you can get away with, the cooler your processor is going to run.

Another "yes." Find stable point at minimum voltage, at least for vcore.

If you wanted to you could also explore reducing voltage to chipset and ram to find minimums where the rig still tests stable.

How long did you run Orthos to decide your computer is stable?

Use the lowest Vcore and Vdimm to achieve a 2-hour Orthos run. The true stability test is how the overclock perform with your installed software.

Yes. Tedious, but worth it. You won't have to re-test long. Unless you picked a vcore value out of the clear blue, probably one or two steps down from your current stable will be about it. Worth it in temp reduction, tho. Adding vcore voltage seems to effect heat exponentially, not linearly.

This is true. It is not a linear increase, so every decrease in Vcore makes a nice difference 🙂

2 x 24 hour sessions.

Nah, ~15 hours is plenty IMO. I generally just run it for 8 hours when I sleep, if it hasn't crashed when I wake up its good enough for me. 😉
