No. It is completely and absolutely illegal, because it subverts the entire idea of the organ donor list - by NEED, and not by financial resources.

This isn't to say that it doesn't happen, though.

Pipe organs are very expensive. The good ones can cost as much as 20 million dollars. Very hard to maintain too...

But that's the problem- once you allow people to *buy* organs, you're going to have sellers, and incentive for people to steal and sell.
