So if i picked up a dual AXp rig would i get the benefit of the dual core drivers?

Interesting question...

Aside from the fact that I wouldn't recommend spending any money on such a setup these days unless you can find one really cheaply, from what I've read around here, the drivers with dual-core optimizations don't provide much in the way of extra performance anyway (maybe 5-10%).

good point, i remember someone saying they'd found one (or a gto) a while back, but i guess my point is just would it be worth pairing it with a x850xt/6800U?

I think it would be a bad move to buy a high end AGP card considering you can get a 7800gt for right around $300 now.
