happened to me before..guy was illegal, no license, no registration, no insurance. I was screwed, my insurance had to pay. nothing happened to him. CHP doesn't deport or arrest him for being an illegal. Nothing stops him from buying another $500 car the next day and getting back on the streets.

The law is really messed up for law abiding citizens.

having been experienced in a hit and run accident (caused by an illegal), i will tell you what happens.

1. They attempt to run (they really have no other choice)...
2. You better have full coverage and a minimum of 100k of uninsured motorists because your Health Insurance will NOT pay a dime claiming your Auto is first in line. They will pay later, but you have to shell out the money first. If by chance you don't tell your Health Inurance it was auto related, they'll pay first (better choice), but trust me, you WILL get tons of paperwork requesting your Auto policy and reimbursement, etc...
3. You will need a lawyer to even collect a dime from your Auto Insurance to pay back your Health Insurance...

Yea, so long story short, you get screwed. And if you're lucky enough to catch the person, as I was (4 car accident and f*cker attempted to run w/ a leaky radiator/bottom end so was easy for the police to follow to his driveway), they go to jail and i've no idea if he's getting deported....Accident was Aug 2, and he's still in jail.

And for the updates, I'm still getting Hospital bils, AAA is refusing to pay because my Medical portion has capped, and my Health Ins is waiting for me to claim my Uninsured Motorists to collect from me (or it goes on my credit), all of which even if I collect my full amount, my attorney will collect 33%...

I just hope the Attorney negotiates w/ my Insurances so that I'm left dead even (not including the loss of the car.....yes, it was totalled, but i really didn't want to have to buy a new car)....

So my take on illegals, get them the f*** out.....i don't know why CA claims they don't know where they are..i mean heck...there's ILLEGAL immigrant rallies to get the driver's licenses ALL THE FREAKING TIME.....I mean heck...they gather! Is that not easy enough?

I live near a farming town where illeagals make up 70% of the population (years ago it used to be mostly caucasian/white). I have seen more than my share of accidents and 9 times out of 10 they flee the scene to avoid getting sent back to mexico via the police. A few of the accidents I have witnessed they actualy caught the beloved patriot I and managed to keep up with the news after the accident. Usualy they serve a sentance, go back to mexico, and the victim gets screwd.

In a separate incident that I was not a witness to, it happend to some friends of my family. They too got screwed and suied by the aliens. And it wasn't their fault nor where they in the car when it happend.

We've got the same problems over here, but for some weird reason, illegal immigrants can actually vote. So, politicians don't do anything about them, and are actually giving them benefits to gain their votes. It's elections in two weeks, and all I've heard is benefits for illegal immigrants, muslims, blacks, the rich.. Nothing for the average person. My country sucks .

Middle class families everywhere would need to mow their own lawn and clean their own homes. Businesses/property owners would have to hire janitorial services who don't prey on cheap illegal alien labor.

I agree. Some politicians are pandering to businesses that want cheap, illegal labor, others want to make citizens of the illegals and put them on welfare so as to buy their votes, et cetera. Throw out the corrupt bastards of all parties, and start enforcing the laws that we have before worrying about passing new ones.
