Even though IE7 can't browse FTP like IE6 could, Explorer in XP still does it just fine. But will Explorer in Vista also be able to or not since Explorer and IE are separate in Vista?

I use FileZilla anway. Doesn't answer your question, but I just thought I would throw that out there. You could always download the RC for Vista and try it out for yourself 🙂

Okay.......once again the question is.....can Explorer in Vista browse FTP like Explorer in XP does. I'm not interested in FTP software, Explorer in XP handles my basic FTP needs just fine.

Yes, in Windows Vista the FTP browser using explorer is basically the same thing you get with the old Internet Explorer.
Does it work any better/worse? I have memories of ftp in explorer being quite flaky.

I have no troubles with it at all in XP.
