I seriously can?t believe how sick some people are. I work at a video store up here at Rochester, and this guy comes in, very shady looking with a freaking cloak on or something. My co-workers recognized who he was though; a regular who always checks out our ?erotica? selection. So he walks by me, and nods, as if I know the friggin guy. Then he heads to the ?back? of the store where we keep our ?good movies.? He picks one and then heads to the register. Twenty minutes later he comes back and says it wouldn?t load. BS I think, that DVD was brand new. So we gave in and let him take home another copy, and lo and behold he comes back a while later saying the DVD skips. Keep in mind; I just took that DVD out of the shrink wrap. So I?m thinking after two brand new DVDs messing up, the things might be defective. I gave him another one because I was curious to see if it might be defective as well.

So as he?s at the register, he mentions to me that he cleaned the discs with detergent and water, then laying a towel over them. I was like ?WTF?? You have to realize, I was having a bad week. My boyfriend broke up with me and my cat died when a car?s sunroof closed around its head and cut it off. I decided to take my anger out on this guy. I yelled at him and told him never to clean our property again, especially with something that is potentially abrasive, like detergent. I think he wet his pants because I saw a wet stain on his pants as he left the store, whimpering.

Later today I realized why he cleaned the DVDs with detergent and water. I didn?t see him come back, but he did return the third DVD we rented out to him in the quick return box. As a coworker took out the DVD from the box, we found a white substance covering the disc. Now the traumatized coworker has locked herself in the bathroom, where she has been for the last half hour, screaming for hazard pay. I kinda wish he did clean the disc now.

I thought it was pretty good. He added some content to make the story better, and he combined info. from other threads.
