A draw for people actively folding for their team had a grand prize of an X2 4200+ Manchester.

I have a s754 3000+ currently, with an AGP X800XL AIW. Now I have a few options; but need some advice.

1)Sell the X2 4200+ (approx. $450) and use money for school

2)Keep X2, buy Asrock Dual939 w/AGP and PCI-E on ULi chipset and keep the X800XL and sell my S754 3000+ and DFI LanpartyUT 250Gb

3)Sell 3000+, DFI, and X800XL and purchase the EVGA combo motherboard and 7800GT for $535.

I'd assume my CPU would be worth $80-$100, Motherboard $80-$100, and Video $300 or so (since it is an AIW - basically an X800XT with BIOS of 400/400 but can run 520/560 no problem) So optimistically I'd get about $500 for all three and make up the difference for the combo.

I do game pretty frequently (as much as school allows) and use my computer for general usage but nothing crazy so dual core isn't a necessity, rather a nice feature to have. 🙂

What's the best option!? (oh, and all prices are Canadian btw)

1)give it to me
2)sell it to me for $1
3)Give me $150 to take it off your hands

This one is a toughy, but I say go with option 3 sicne it is simpyl the better deal

first and foremost: focus on your studies.

congratulations on the win, but you'll do yourself a huge favor by getting it off your hands now for the current price.

Let me test it for you to make sure it doesn't explode when power is applied to it. Might take some time to test though, I prefer to be very thorough.

I'm in my fourth year keeping an 80% average putting almost no effort into my schooling anymore... it's the home stretch and money (although it's always nice to have more) isn't a pressing concern. This could tide me over on upgrades for two years or more, maybe. I don't know though - $450 is pretty tempting, but an X2 and 7800GT is a killer combo... tough decisions eh? 😉
