So I woke up at quarter to what the f**k o'clock today..

To help roomates clean the house as 8am on wednesday is our new schedule to clean the house for a hour or two, only to find that it's snowing/raining out.

See, I wake up at 12 or 1pm usually, so 8am is stupid early for me. And the reason we have to do it at that time is:

1.) One of the guys does midnights, so he's just getting home and is still awake, therefore the rest of us sacrifice waking up that early
2.) We have friends over on wednesday nights as a weekly get together.

And yes, I do IT as well, but I do 1-2pm-4/5/6am, so when I went to bed at 4 this morning, 8 came rather early.
 
You are a lazy fat bastard. There is nothing "early" about getting up at 8am. That's what time plenty of people get up every day. You gotta get up before 6:30am for it to be considered "early."
 
so you woke up at 8 am and decided posting a complaint to a forum of antisocial IT workers who get up before 5 am and work long into the night just so people at work can check their email without calling the office 5 times in 3 minutes the next morning was the way to go.

I am an IT guy and I wake up at 7:30 to get to work by 8 and it is early.

Don't whine if you have to get up at 5 to 6 am. Sucks for you.

Wow... we have 20 degree weather here in Barrie (45 mins north of TO), crazy warm front over us, though it's supposed to snow around saturday

**EDIT** looks lke weather network changed their minds... no snow in the foreseeable forecast.. 😀
 
I get up at 6am every day. Not complaing or pointing fingers, just stating a fact. It's actually kinda nice because on a good day I get to be home by 5 so I actually get a real evening. Sometimes I wish I could sleep in like the 'old' days (graduated a little over a year ago) but thats the way of things.

3 guys, 1 girl. 2 guys + 1 girl = same schedule for the most part, other one is midnights, so we have to be quiet while hes sleeping etc. Said girl is doing most of the cleaning because thats just how she is, house gets to the point where it requires more than 1 person doing the work, so said girl came up with the brilliant idea of dragging 2 of us out of bed, the other one just coming home from work, and doing housework all at the same time so we don't bicker over who did what etc. Have to understand we're all 19-21 yrs old, sh!t happens 😀
