So I went to the liquor store...

and picked up my special order(One case of Blackened Voodoo, One Abita Sampler, One 6 pack of Abita Turbo Dog, and One 6 pack of Abita Purple Haze)and had him place the other Abita(another three cases of various kinds) on hold for me to pick up over the next few weeks. I spent 65 bucks on what you see in the picture, but Abita and Blackened Voodoo is GREAT beer. Too bad I have to order it anytime I want it.

I'd say a Turbo Dog would be closer to a newcastle or orther brown ale. Intersting tidbit - I went to the Abita brewpub a few weeks ago, and they had ~12 taps. The only non-Abita product they had was Guinness.

Hmm... it has a Guinness tastes and head, but it has more of a newcastle color and pour. I definitely can taste the similarities to Guinness especially when drinking one right after the other. It figures I would like Turbo Dog, because I love Guinness and Newcastle. Is the brewpub in Abita Springs?
