So I went down to Baltusrol yesterday...

I'm conveniently in NJ for the week visiting my dad, who's a huge golf fan, so he took me down to Baltusrol yesterday to watch them hit some golf. It was great, there were 25,000 people there and it was about 103 degrees.

We were out there by 1:30 to watch Tiger tee off, and followed him around to about hole 3...it was really tough to follow him around since there were so many people. So we sat down at the hole 4 bleachers to watch the rest of the people, all the way down to Phil and Davis. We saw that whats-his-face hit that 25 foot bogey putt at the 4th after dropping his first ball in the drink, great stuff. After Phil and DL3 finished we ran out to hole 18, watched a few guys like Katayama and whoever, went down to hole 17 to watch Tiger hit the green, 650 yards away, in two strokes. We then moseyed on down to the 14th to watch Vijay finish putting and tee off at 15. Staying at the 14th, we were able to see the rest of the guys putt there, including the Phil and DL3 duo (who didn't get to finish due to the weather).

Overall it was great fun, really exciting and full of energy (golf...who knew?). The crowd was great, and some of the golfers got really close (I swear I felt Tiger sweat on me, I swear it). No pics guys, we weren't allowed to bring cameras (or cell phones, or radios for that matter). Oh well, good times, good times.
