Netflix series by the Wachovsky broth... err... sist... err... siblings.

Sold to me as a cool sci-fi series with a bunch of people connected through some mumbo jumbo - fight scene looked cool on youtube so figured I'd give it a whirl.

Made it through three episodes. I've now watched more homo-erotic porn than a 12 year old confused Dutch boy trying to find himself. Reading reviews after the fact, apparently there's a lengthy poly-sexual orgy a few episodes beyond where I am - not exactly a strong selling point.

Time to cut my losses, kiss my wife, and do something manly to reassure my heterosexuality. I need an animal to kill.

The first episode was so bad I ditched it in favor of Stranger Things and catching up on The Strain.

It gets better after like the first 4 episodes. There was a thread on this awhile back when it first came out.

I don't think so. I struggled through 5 episodes. Unbelievably boring. Too many characters that I didn't care anything about.

Nothing wrong with not liking it but if all you can come up with for criticism is being disgusted by sex that is different from what you're into you kinda come off like a homophobic dumbass. Plus if you have to kill something to feel like a man then you're a literal psychopath.

I haven't watched it myself but I don't have much interest as the Wachowskis' stuff after the first Matrix movie has fallen completely flat for me.

I really liked the premise and some of the stuff they did with it was pretty cool, but I actually think a lot of the relationship and sex nonsense was a bit too over the top and actually detracted from the overall story. If they could have trimmed some of that out, maybe by making it an episode shorter or something, it may have been a little more cohesive and less...stupid.

I watched all the episodes. It was interesting. I liked some of the story lines and disliked some of the others. The Mexican actor was done really well.

Yeah, I liked that one too. Was unique and interesting. I liked the Korean story too, but mainly because she got to kick some ass, which was cool, but that's the the problem with a show like this, it's rare that you like every storyline so you end up just waiting for the ones you like to come back.

I'll watch season 2 though.
